Hôtel Le Bristol: colder groups more powerful and less energy-consuming

Optimum comfort and 40 to 50% expected savings

In recent years, the Hotel Le Bristol (Paris VIIIe) has undertaken major renovations of its rooms. The opportunity for him, to meet the heating / cooling needs with new water / water groups, having a large cooling capacity, a small footprint, a limited noise and optimum comfort of use and maintenance.

The installation of two water-cooled units (cold only) allowed a power gain of more than 200 kW, compared to the old installation. These systems have an ESEER ratio of up to 8.8. Inverter technology enables group operation adapted to the actual needs of users and an energy recovery module is connected to each circuit (plate heat exchanger). The key is a significant reduction in energy consumption with 40 to 50% expected savings.

Words of pro: « Systems optimized by a monitoring platform »

« In order to optimize the user comfort and maintenance of the cooling units, they have been connected to the ModBus gateway of the Hotel and to a monitoring platform, » explains Christophe Thomas, Business Solution Manager at Daikin. This device allows the maintainer to monitor the performance of groups and optimize maintenance monitoring and control. The user thus benefits from an integrated energy meter allowing automatic feedback of the operating data to the customer. «
